About
Cassidy is an alumna of Penn State University. She has a B.S. in Agricultural Education and Plant Science-Agroecology Option with minors in Agribusiness Management, Agronomy, and International Agriculture. She holds a Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in Agriculture and General Science.
While she is principally a writer, Cassidy also enjoys working on educational projects with agricultural organizations. She has coordinated and hosted the Educator’s Ag Institute and the Winter Ag Workshop Series for her state’s Ag in the Classroom organization. She also spends time teaching in a mobile agriculture classroom for elementary and middle schoolers and has facilitated educational leadership conferences for youth organizations.
In her free time, Cassidy loves to read and play board games, particularly cooperative board games with her husband. She also enjoys traveling and trying new foods.
